Wojciech Szybkowski

Wojciech is a partner at SKJB Szybkowski Kuźma Jeleń.

Wojciech helps our clients grow their businesses by investing in and selling various types of commercial real estate, such as office buildings, shopping centres and industrial schemes. He is a trusted adviser to a range of international investors, property developers, lenders and renters. He provides pragmatic, solution-driven, realisable legal strategies and solutions to our clients for the development, acquisition, commercialisation, operation and disposal of commercial real estate.

Wojciech advises investors, developers and operators on transactions, such as M&A, corporate finance, leases and management agreements in the hotels and leisure sector.

Wojciech assists manufacturers and retailers in expanding their businesses by making greenfield investments in new manufacturing and distribution facilities.

Wojciech also advises clients on M&A transactions and joint ventures.

Wojciech lives in Warsaw with his wife Eliza and their daughter Maria. Wojciech is a member of the Polish National Committee of UNICEF.

Before setting up SKJB, Wojciech practiced law at CMS Cameron McKenna, White & Case, DZP (a member of Andersen Legal at that time), Wierzbowski & Szubielska (a member of Landwell – PricewaterhouseCoopers at that time) and Deloitte & Touche.

Agnieszka Kuźma
ADVOCATE • PARTNER

Agnieszka is an advocate and partner in SKJB legal company. She specialises in real estate and construction law, administration law and commercial law. She advises Polish and international companies operating in the real estate sector. Agnieszka advises on all real estate transactions, including acquisitions (share and asset deals), divestiture, sale-and-lease-back and joint venture.

She provides legal services in relation to project commercialisation and represents investors in raising financing and re-financing for real estate projects.  Agnieszka advices Clients during construction and investment processes, and is an author of specialised legal opinions concerning building procedures and other civil law and real estate law issues.

Agnieszka graduated from the Faculty of Law at Warsaw University. She also completed the Centre of American Studies conducted by the University of Florida.

She is fluent in English.

Anna Jeleń
ADVOCATE • PARTNER

Anna is an advocate and partner in SKJB Legal Company. She specialises in civil law, in particular real estate and commercial law. She advises clients from the real estate sector, in particular, with respect to, the verification of the, legal status of real properties and preparation of due diligence reports, sale and purchase of real properties and enterprises, joint venture deals, property financing, negotiating lease agreements (including built-to-suit agreements), construction contracts, as well as, representing clients before courts and administrative authorities.

She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Jagiellonian University. During her studies she also completed the Centre of American Law and the International Business and Trade Summer Law Programme, joint initiative of the Catholic University of America and Jagiellonian University.

Between 2008 and 2017 Anna was a member of the Real Estate and Construction Department at CMS Cameron McKenna. Between 2007 and 2008 Anna worked in the Civil Rights Department in Legal Clinic of the Jagiellonian University.

During her studies, Anna was awarded scholarship from the Ministry of Higher Education and Science twice. She is also the author of a number of articles on various civil law matters and the co-author of the “Properties lexicon” published by Wolters Kluwer Polska. She is fluent in English.

Anna Brzoza-Ostrowska

Anna Brzoza-Ostrowska is a qualified legal advisor and a partner in SKJB. 

Anna has over 19 years’ experience in the Polish market and specialises in commercial real estate transactions, commercial leases, legal issues related to real estate asset management and investment processes in particular involving warehouse space and office space. She represents funds operating in the real estate sector, leading developers in the warehouse market and investors on the purchase, sale and lease of commercial property and the realisation of development projects. Before joining SKJB in 2021, Anna Brzoza-Ostrowska was a partner in a real estate department of reputable international law firm. 

Krzysztof Malik
ADVOCATE • PARTNER

Krzysztof is an advocate and partner at SKJB law firm. Krzysztof specialises in rendering legal services in the area of employment law and personal data protection especially in the scope of cross border data transfers and GDPR implementation. He advises clients with respect to collective and individual labor law in the EU. He has extensive experience in legal aspects of planning and implementing organizational structures of newly-established companies as well as restructuring of the existing ones, including monitored collective dismissals and outsourcing of employees. He advises clients in all legal aspects connected to the process of hiring, modification and termination of employment with key employees including non-competition, confidentiality and motivation systems.

Krzysztof also advises clients in the area of competition law and represents clients during proceedings in front of Office and Competition and Consumer Protection.

As a reputable negotiator, he helps clients in cooperation with trade unions and other employees’ representatives. Krzysztof is also an expert in issues connected with the liability of members of the management board of companies for breach of collective and individual labor law provisions.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Jagiellonian University. He is an author of publications regarding processions of employees’ biometric data and has lead numerous seminars and conferences organized for clients in Poland and abroad. He is fluent in English.

Izabela Kultys

Izabela Kultys is a legal counsel with over 6-yers’ experience in advising clients on the real estate market. She advises on real estate acquisitions, leases as well as joint venture transactions. She also specializes in conducting due diligence investigation and preparing transaction documentation. She has experience in providing advisory services to companies as well.

Before joining SKJB, Izabela was practicing at international law firm for 4 years and before that in a law firm specialising in real estate and at a notary’s office.

She speaks English.

Joanna Dzieniszewska
LEGAL COUNSEL • ASSOCIATE

Joanna is a legal counsel at the Warsaw Bar Association and specialises in real estate law and investment process. She is involved in preparing agreements, including construction works agreements, sale agreements, lease agreements as well as other transactional documents. She conducts real estate due diligence analysis and offers clients ongoing advice on the investment process.

Joanna graduated from Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Nicolaus Copernicus in Toruń and she is a scholarship holder of Rector’s scholarship for the best students. She also graduated from Comparative Law School conducting by University of Nicolaus Copernicus in cooperation with International Studies Center in Salzburg. 

She gained experience working in Polish reputable law firms, where she practiced real estate law, procedural law and intellectual property law.  

A long-time volunteer committed to helping children.

She spends her free time testing new recipes and listening to true crime podcasts. She is also interested in literature and painting.

Piotr Kuczyński
ADVOCATE • ASSOCIATE

Piotr is an advocate. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and two-year diploma course in British and European law organized by British Law Centre.

Before joining SKJB, Piotr worked for more than 2,5 years at consulting firm EY, where he advised on tax and legal matters in HR area (i.e. implementation of alternative remuneration structures or PIT/social security issues resulting from assignments). His professional interests also include real estate law.

Piotr spends his free time following his biggest passion – cooking. He also travels around the world.

Natalia Styś
LEGAL COUNSEL • ASSOCIATE

Natalia is an attorney-at-law at the Warsaw Bar Association and associate in SKJB. She has several years of professional experience in advising on corporate, civil and administrative law. Before joining the SKJB team she worked in Polish and international law firms. Her professional interests include real estate law and investment process advisory.

Natalia graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Warsaw University. During her studies she spent one year studying at Stockholm University in Sweden as a part of Erasmus+ programme. Natalia finished postgraduate studies in the field Law of New Technologies.

Natalia is fluent in English and has a communicative level of Spanish.

Natalia likes to spend her free time with family and friends.

Aleksandra Szykulska
ASSOCIATE

Aleksandra is a trainee advocate at Warsaw Bar Association. She graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law and Administration at University of Warsaw.

Before joining SKJB, Aleksandra was practicing at CMS Cameron McKenna and other Polish law firm.

Her experience and fields of interests are focused on commercial, real estate and construction law.

Aleksandra is interested in theatre, literature and philosophy.

Katarzyna Boryń
ASSOCIATE

Katarzyna graduated from the Faculty of Law at Catholic University of Lublin. Her interests are focused on criminal and sports law.

During studies she got experience in Warsaw law offices. She took part in project: ,,Law in action” organised  in Lublin. Katarzyna served an apprenticeship in Prosecutor’s Office – District Warsaw Wola and in 3rd Probation Office in District Court Warsaw Praga-North.

She is interested in sport and Scandinavian literature.

Maciej Wilk
ASSOCIATE

Maciej is a graduate at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. His interests include real estate law and intellectual property law.

He spends his free time on his greatest passion – sports, especially football.

He is fluent in English and speaks basic German.

Aldona Sujecka
FINANCE AND KNOW-HOW MANAGER

Aldona is a Finance and Know-How Manager. She has a broad experience working for international law firms. She has worked among others in Baker & McKenzie, CMS Cameron McKenna, Wardyński and Partners. She got her Master’s degree from the University of Warsaw, Institute of Applied Linguistics. In 2021 she completed postgraduate studies in "Human Resources and Payroll" at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) in Warsaw.

She was an Erasmus exchange student at the Inholland University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands and completed the Dutch course at the University of Tilburg (the Netherlands). She graduated with honours from the high school in the USA. Among others, she has language certificates from Institut Français Chambéry-Annecy and Université de Nancy 2.

One of her hobbies is learning foreign languages. She is interested in floristry and perfumes. In her spare time she likes reading books and going to the cinema, she also enjoys travelling.

Kinga Kruk
Office and Administrative Assistant

Kinga is an administrative and office assistant and supports lawyers. She graduated from the Warsaw Management University - the Faculty of Law and Administration in Warsaw.

She has many years of experience as an assistant and office manager in companies from the construction sector. At SKJB, Kinga deals with administrative matters and is responsible for the smooth operation of the office.
